The Principal of the firm Bruce MacDonald set up the Practice in 1995 primarily to act for clients in criminal and civil litigation.
Having secured Law Degrees from Universities in Scotland, England and France and having gained a wealth of experience as a Partner in a large firm of Solicitors in Aberdeen, Bruce decided to set up on his own and provide a more personal and focused service to his clients. Bruce places maximum importance on the relationship of trust and confidence between Solicitor and client.
The Practice has gone from strength to strength and has expanded into further areas of expertise including Employment Law and Tribunals, Wills and Executries, Divorce and Family Law, Property Purchases and Conveyancing.
Having over 30 years of experience as a Solicitor, Bruce has the knowledge and appetite to tackle the most challenging and difficult cases. He will go the extra mile to secure the best result for his clients.
Bruce will always explore the possibility of settling a case out of Court and will negotiate on a client's behalf robustly and, at all times, professionally. However, if the case cannot be settled by negotiation he will advance his client's interest in Court skillfully and with resolution. Bruce will conduct cases on Legal Aid where a client qualifies under the Legal Aid Regulations.
Bruce also qualified at the California Bar in 1994.
